Ray Morrison Memorial Wildlife Area

Ray Morrison Memorial Wildlife Area is a 65-acre property in north central Pierce County. The property consists of restored grasslands, floodplain forest and cattail marsh habitat. The southern 25 acres of the wildlife area was donated to the DNR from the Kinnickinnic Chapter of Pheasants Forever in 1993, while the northern 40 acres was purchased in cooperation with Ducks Unlimited in 1999. The property adjoins 233 acres of Army Corps of Engineers property and 40 acres of West Wisconsin Land Trust property, creating the 338-acre Trimbelle River Conservation Area.
