Freier School
The Village of Ellsworth has a deep and rich history reflected in the many historic points of interest throughout our area. One historic site located within the Pierce County Fairgrounds is the Freier Schoolhouse. Visit year-round, although the building is only open to the public during the Pierce County Fair in August. The school stands as a memorial to all the rural schools of Pierce County, their teachers, and students.
